Comhghairdeas to the Galway Minor Hurling Team on their three-in-a-row All-Ireland success today by defeating Kilkenny on a score line of 3.14 to 12 points. Well done in particular to all the St Raphael’s hurlers on the team who had a huge part to play in this success.
Transition Year students Niall Brogan and Eoin Kinsella presenting Lynia O’Brien, COPE Galway with a cheque for €2,588.40. The money was raised from the TYs recent fundraising efforts, a 12 Hour Sleep-In.
Audiences were transported back in time when St. Raphael’s College Transition Year and fourth year students put on their spectacular performance of Back to the 80s at the Temperance Hall over three nights, Wednesday 7th, Thursday 8th and Saturday 10th November.

Family Carers Ireland, Galway were delighted to be presented with a cheque for €800 yesterday, Friday 25th May, by St Raphael’s College, Loughrea to provide support for carers in the local area. €524 was raised by students of the school through their Blind Date Fundraiser while the balance of €276 was donated by the Parents’ Association.
